WE ARE PROUD OF OUR NATIONAL FLAG
The National Flag is the symbol of our freedom and sovereignty.
Any individual or institution can fly or display the national flag on all days consistent with its dignity and honour.
The National Flag should always occupy the position of honour and be distinctly placed.
The National Flag shall not be used for commercial purpose including any form of advertisement.
Do not display a damaged of disheveled Flag.
The Flag shall not be dipped in salute to any person.

It shall not be flown with the ‘saffron’ colour on top.
Lettering of any kind shall not be put upon the Flag.
It shall not be used as a receptacle for anything.
When damaged or soiled, it shall be destroyed as a whole in private.
PRAYER FOR THE NATION
Where the minds is without fear and the head is held high;
where knowledge is free;
where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls;
where words come out from the truth;
where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection;
where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way into the dreary desert sand of dead habit;
where the mind is led forward by Thee into ever- widening thought and action;
into that heaven of freedom, my father, let my country awake.
